I could give you a many reasons but I will start with just a few.
Desaree Crouch first and foremost is amazing, not only was she born into the business she loves it. You will feel her passion and commitment when you meet her. This school will not only prepare you for the State Board exam but more importantly prepare you to walk into a salon and go to work. I have attended 2 beauty schools my first in California and my second with Desaree & Company School of Beauty for only 500 hours. I learned more in those 500 hours than I ever did in the 1600 California required of me. I envy the students who will leave after 2100 hour these ladies and gentlemen will without a doubt to straight to work and meet far beyond the skill level I posessed.
Why should this school be you number one pick? The classes are smaller which translates to hands on instruction. You will never get lost in the shuffle. When you are ready to “go on the floor” as scary as it might be you will be prepared. The work that leaves this school puts seasoned stylists to shame. Also your education does not stop at the required State board Skills you learn “tricks of the trade” things I had to take extra classes and attend the School of hard knocks to learn. Instead of being taught by just instructors you are taught by active professionals, people who have done, seen, or fixed anything and everything you will be faced with as a professional stylist.
While you compare and interview with the schools in our area ask questions of the instructors seriously. Are they working in the field do THEY attend continued education? When was the last trade show they attended? This industry is constantly changing, new products on the market, new tech, new equipment etc. Seriously compare all the schools and I guarantee you Desaree & Company is the best all around.
Last main reason I would give is the most important of all! I recently was faced with a tough color client Serious color correction. In a few emails Desaree gave me the answers to my questions on how best to help this client. Now I graduated about 8 months ago and she is still helping me. So simply said you dont just graduate and then you are on your own she is still teaching and guiding me all these months later. Truely amazing!

If anyone ever needs a reference or more reasons why you should pick this school over any other please do not hesitate emailing me at carlson6pack@yahoo.com
